Marine pollution is one of the biggest threats to our oceans’ health and we need to work together to tackle it. Inspired by our planet’s plastic epidemic, this design seeks to highlight our throwaway culture and its impact on ocean wildlife and habitats, featuring native marine life including dolphins, grey seals and a minke whale swimming against a tide of trash. Scotland has miles of coastline and a rich marine heritage which needs protecting and conserving. If everyone takes small steps in their daily lives, we can make a huge impact in securing healthy seas for future generations.
