We have decided to call our moongazer sculpture Singer to the Stars. This is in memory of our technology teacher Miss Singer who worked at the school for many years but sadly passed away in December 2022, due to cancer. She taught the current P2-P7. Our design idea was to have a background of the Kinellar landscape moving up into the sky, then into a night sky with stars. A computer keyboard will start at the base of the sculpture to signify all her work with technology in the classes. The keyboard will twist around the moongazer hare, breaking away and turning into loose keys. The letters will then form words and messages with a positive and resilient theme. As the letters travel around and up the hare, they will become notes on a musical staff in the sky. There will be messages in the stars and words to songs which are based around stars and sky. The project was completed by P4K.
