This design is a celebration of Scotland’s national flower. Adorned with stylised stalks of prickly thistles and golden honeycomb, the statue is a buzz with big furry bumble bees. The artist has been inspired by traditional woodcut prints which are referenced in the deep purple linework embellished with a rich gold metallic paint.
