Sandra wanted her design to be a homage to the Scottish side of her family and has painted this beautiful hare sculpture as a well-groomed gent in a tartan kilt. Alast-Hare is full of energy and loves to hop, skip and dance. He’s also got a very smart black bow tie and jacket with shiny buttons and well-polished shoes. He hopes to bring lots of smiles to The Big Hop Trail!

Sandra Russell is a painter, illustrator and storyboard artist. She mainly works for advertising agencies drawing digitally how an advert will look like before it goes into production. She enjoys painting oil traditional landscapes and portraits in a realistic style. Sandra plays golf and is also a golf artist having illustrated for golf magazines, books (The Long Golden Afternoon by Stephen Proctor) and was recently commissioned to paint the portrait of former pro-golfer and presenter Wayne “Radar” Riley. Having painted Wild In Art sculptures before, she really wanted to get involved with The Big Hop Trail and help raise much needed funds for Clan Cancer Support.
